With the recent passing of my father, our old family home was passed on to me. It’s not a subject that everyone loves to hear about, but it is necessary to create a relevant context for my article. When I came and visited the house, I was shocked at the house’s state of disrepair. He was frail in his later years, and I didn’t live close enough to check in on the house frequently. I decided that it would be better to fix up the house and put it back on the market, rather than keeping it.
Since it has been a while since I last lived in Corpus Christi, I am unfamiliar with any of the local businesses anymore. I contacted a few of my old friends who who work together as a Corpus Christi roofing contractor. They said that they were backlogged for at least a couple months, and there was no way I was waiting that long to fix up the house. With an unstable roof, the rest of your house could be compromised as well. The ceiling is one of 6 sides of the house, and it is not like the floor is going anywhere.
One of my roofer buddies grudgingly suggested their main competitor, who he claimed outpaced them in both the quality of the work and the efficiency of the workers. Sounded like a great deal for me, but I was still a bit apprehensive. What about the price, after all? I decided to give Vertex Roofing a call and see what was up with their business. The receptionist was very kind to me (and very knowledgeable).
Any questions I had, she could answer immediately. It is one thing to have smart roofers in Corpus Christi that know what they are doing, but that should be a given. When the receptionist knows what they are doing as well, then you know the roofers hired smart. Even though the Corpus Christi roofers were relatively busy, they still managed to make time for me. I can’t even say the same about my friend, but at the same time I also don’t know his circumstances.
Once I scheduled the job and the roofers were at my house, it did not take very long at all before they got to work. Watching them work was not boring in any way, either. There were no internal conflicts between the roofers in Corpus Christi, and they were very efficient. Even after they were finished with the work and had been paid, I made sure to go out of my way to thank them for being so efficient. We only have so much time, and I for one can’t stand when mine is wasted.
When I went online to research other Corpus Christi roofing, I encountered a lot of horror stories from people who hired the less desirable roofing contractors. You should never base a purchasing decision off of price alone. If you buy cheap, then the work is cheap. However, there are still those rare occasions when you hire someone like Vertex Roofing.
They still have to make a living, so it’s not like they’re working for free. But they still manage to keep the cost affordable for someone who has the whole rest of a house to patch up, and for that I am thankful. Hopefully I won’t need any more roofing work done in the near future, but if I do then I am certain that I will be covered. It’s like having insurance for my roof, in a way. Thank you for making a tough time on my family a whole lot easier, Vertex Roofing.
